
IAFS Announces Strategic Partnership with National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), India
Gandhinagar, India – 14 November 2025 – The International Association of Forensic Sciences (IAFS) is pleased to announce the establishment of a formal partnership with the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), India. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in the advancement of forensic sciences on a global scale.
Under this partnership, IAFS and NFSU will work together to promote education, research, and professional excellence in forensic sciences. The collaboration will include joint initiatives such as conferences, workshops, expert exchanges, and research projects, as well as mutual support for academic and scientific activities.
Both organizations share a commitment to advancing forensic science education, fostering innovation, and maintaining the highest professional standards. This partnership will also support the forthcoming IAFS 2026 Triennial Meeting in Sofia, Bulgaria, encouraging active participation and visibility of NFSU’s faculty, students, and research initiatives.
Dr. Yanko Kolev, President of IAFS and Prof. (Dr.) J. M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor of NFSU, signed the Partnership Agreement on 14 November 2025, formalizing their mutual intent to collaborate in a spirit of goodwill and shared benefit.
This strategic collaboration reflects the ongoing global mission of IAFS and NFSU to strengthen forensic science education, research, and practice, while fostering international cooperation across the forensic science community.
