About ISFRI
The International Society of Forensic Radiology and Imaging (ISFRI) is a non-profit organization that aims to advance forensic radiology and imaging worldwide by promoting best practices, developing international standards, and fostering education, research, and cooperation.
ISFRI was officially announced on November 27, 2011, following its founding in Zurich on November 14 by Michael Thali and Mark Viner. The first annual meeting took place in Zurich in May 2012, where attendees became the first ISFRI members and gained the status of Founding Members of the society. A milestone came in 2015 with the first joint meeting of ISFRI and the International Association of Forensic Radiographers (IAFR).
